When considering protection and cure from a vampires bite, here is a method you may find hard to swallow. . . Literally:
One remedy for a person who is bitten by a vampire, according to many old legends throughout eastern Europe, is to drink the ashes of the vampire once it is burned. Another ironic twist to the legend is that a person should make bread using the blood of the presumed vampire and consume it. This was said to keep the vampire from being able to drink your blood. . .Talk about a little hair of the dog.
